MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County grand jury indicted a Grove City man Monday for rape.

Tyrus R. Rudy, III, 19, was indicted on one count of rape, a first-degree felony.

The grand jury indicted nine other individuals in its Oct. 5 session.

Jose I. Escamilla, of Powell, one count of strangulation, a second-degree felony, and one count of domestic violence, a fifth-degree felony.

Christopher B. Plummer, of Marengo, one count of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony, and one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.

Josiah E. Thomas, of Mount Vernon, one count of having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony. Thomas also forfeited one Smith and Wesson 40-caliber pistol.

Luke T. Wilson, of Mount Vernon, two counts of forgery, both fifth-degree felonies, one count of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, and one count of grand theft, a fourth-degree felony.

Conrad R. Ferenbaugh, of Howard, one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony.

Derek B. Dugan, of Utica, one count of theft from a person in a protected class, $22,848,58, a third-degree felony.

Aaron R. Rodriguez Arvizu, of Mount Vernon, one count of attempted burglary, a third-degree felony, and one count of criminal damaging, a second-degree misdemeanor.

Ronald K. Owens, of Mount Vernon, one count of aggravated vehicular assault, a third-degree felony, and one count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Corey L. McDaniel, of Etna, one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.
