DANVILLE — The Danville FFA team placed 23rd in the State of Ohio at the annual State Forestry CDE held at Hocking College.

The Bruff siblings, Jaxon and Brooklyn, attended the state forestry competition and placed 23rd as a duo.

They had to identify different species, calculate the amount of merchantable logs in selected trees.

They also had to interpret topographic maps, as well as navigate a compass course, amongst other disciplines.
