MOUNT VERNON — Motorcycles, food trucks, live music and family fun will converge on Public Square on Sunday, Oct. 4, for the Junction Moto Show and Food Truck Festival, a free community event running from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Previously known as the Knox Foodies Food Truck Festival, the festival returns in 2026 with more food, more music, and more motorcycles.
This year features new events, including the Mini Moto Kidz Zone, where children can enter a “Kids 12 and Under” class for a chance to win a $250 gift card.
Other activities include face painting, yard games, a moto-themed photo booth, and activities hosted by the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, PAK United, and other local partners.
An artisan market will be set up on the square where festival attendees can visit booths set up by local artists and small businesses. For the first time, festival attendees can vote for their favorite food truck to win the new “Best Food Truck” award.
The Buckeye Motorcycle Club will debut a mini museum exhibit inside the Mount Vernon Grand Hotel, displaying memorabilia from the historic A.D. Farrow Harley-Davidson dealership dating back to 1914. Visitors can explore artifacts that trace Ohio’s deep ties to motorcycle culture.
Registration for the motorcycle show is free and open to all styles, from vintage Harleys and custom choppers to dirt bikes, café racers and mini bikes. Pre-registration is available on-line at www.junctionmotoshow.com. Cash and prizes valued at over $6,000 will be presented to winners in multiple classes, including the ultimate Best in Show award.
The festival is held in conjunction with the Biketoberfest celebration hosted by the Knox County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Oct. 2-4.

About the festival
In 2025, the organizers decided to bring a downtown motorcycle show to Mount Vernon by adding a free ride-in show to the food truck festival. The addition was so well received that the festival has rebranded.
In it’s seventh year, the festival focuses on bringing a great food experience to the community and showcasing bikes of all makes and models while offering, entertainment, and activities for the entire family.
