The hearing is scheduled for Oct. 6, at 5 p.m. in the New Albany-Plain Local Schools Annex Building, 79 N. High St., New Albany.

The Neo Power Generation project is a hybrid 500 megawatt (MW) natural gas-fired electric generation facility and 260 MW battery energy storage system. The project would be in Jersey Township in Licking County and provide “behind-the-meter” power to an adjacent data center.

Witnesses will register when they arrive at the hearing and will testify in the order in which they register. Testimony will be limited to three minutes per witness. If a witness wishes to supplement their testimony with an exhibit, a copy of the document should be provided to the administrative law judge during the hearing.

An evidentiary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 21, at 10 a.m., at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus. During the evidentiary hearing, the applicant, OPSB staff, and intervening parties will offer expert testimony and evidence regarding the proposed project.
