HOWARD — East Knox FFA members held an FFA spirit week in celebration of National FFA Week Feb. 19 to 24.
A different activity was conducted each day to help recognize and promote FFA and agriculture. Activities included FFA shirt day, flannel/Carhartt day, hat day, and FFA colors day.

FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of agricultural education.
The official name of the organization is the National FFA Organization. The letters “FFA” stand for Future Farmers of America. These letters are a part of our history and our heritage that will never change.
Today, there are 945,988 FFA members in 9,163 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The Ohio FFA Association has 29,123 members in 329 chapters.
