Marilynn M. Getchell, age 82, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on October 24, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter to the late Brooks and Mary Skeen.

Marilynn is survived by her two daughters, Shirley (Philip) Boyer and Connie Getchell; two grandsons, Mike (Natasha) Getchell, and Don Thomas; along with three great-grandchildren, Carter, Mya, and Adrianna.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Getchell in 2004.
The family is observing a private memorial service. The Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel is handling the services for the Getchell family.
