MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
Aug. 16
— Deputies went to an address on N. Preston St. Centerburg, Ohio 43011 to serve an arrest warrant. Deputies entered the residence by permission from a resident and arrested the male with the outstanding warrant. The male was transported to the Knox County Jail.
Aug. 17
— A deputy was dispatched to the Knox Community Hospital to speak with the parents of and unruly 14-year-old female. The deputy spoke with the parents and the report will be sent to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office for review for possible charges.
— Deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of Newark Road in reference to an unconscious/unresponsive individual. Upon arrival Deputies and EMS personnel pronounced the individual deceased and next of kin was notified. Deputies requested assistance from the Knox County Coroners Office in the investigation. A report was taken for documentation purposes.
— Deputies were dispatched to Danville to investigate a deceased elderly male. Complainant stated that the male was seated at the kitchen table and was unresponsive. Deputies arrived and the Coroner was called. Nothing further at this time.
— A complainant reported that his ex-wife took his daughter’s car, which is in the complainant’s name, without permission.
