Searl A. Kennedy, age 71, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at his residence. He was born on June 25, 1951, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to Searl R. and Lois (Evans) Kennedy.
Searl loved fishing at Knox Lake. He was a professional Welder and worked for Hot Tech Welding in Toledo, Ohio. Searl enjoyed motorcycle riding in his younger years. Most of all he loved being around his family, especially his grandkids.
Searl is survived by his wife Jodelle Kennedy; a son, Chad (Debbie) Kennedy; his father and stepmother, Searl R. (Lynda) Kennedy; grandchild, Carly Kennedy; step grandchildren, Ashley Williams, Trey (Malinda) Williams; step great-grandchildren, Parker Dustin and Maddox Williams; brothers, Robert (Deb) Kennedy, Richard (Kandi) Kennedy, James (Connie) Kennedy; numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his mother, Searl is preceded in death by his brothers, Karl and Donald Kennedy.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
