MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University Athletic Department is excited to announce the addition of men’s and women’s bowling as club sports in the fall of 2018.

MVNU looks to grow enrollment through the addition of new athletic teams like bowling and men’s lacrosse which create new opportunities for prospective students.

“We are excited about the addition of bowling as the first of our offerings at the club sport level,” said Hannah Miller, MVNU Coordinator of Club and Junior Varsity Sports. “Our goal with club sports is to provide students another opportunity to engage with and represent the MVNU community through something they love to do.”

The bowling teams will practice at nearby Colonial City Lanes, just 1.2 miles from campus.

The search is underway for a head coach to lead the new program. Qualified candidates can view a complete job description and submit application materials at mvnu.edu/jobs.
