MOUNT VERNON — Grab your blankets, pack up your lawn chairs, and gather your loved ones.

The City of Mount Vernon announces the return of its Free Family Movie Night series. Spanning from early summer through late autumn, this five-movie lineup offers local residents and visitors an opportunity for free, outdoor family fun.

All screenings in the series will be hosted at the Schnormeier Event Center, located within Ariel-Foundation Park (201 S. Norton St.).

To accommodate seasonal changes and early sunset times, the series will pivot to an exciting afternoon matinee for its spooky grand finale on Halloween.
