COLUMBUS —Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) has announced that State Representative Margaret Ann Ruhl (R-Mount Vernon) has been appointed to the State Controlling Board.
“I am honored to be appointed by Speaker Rosenberger to serve on the Controlling Board,” Rep. Ruhl said. “I will work hard for the taxpayers of Ohio to fulfill the responsibilities of this important state board.”
It was also announced that Rep. Ruhl will be appointed to serve on the Finance Committee, which is responsible for vetting appropriations bills. Rep. Ruhl currently serves on the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, the Local Government Committee, and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
The appointment will be effective on Monday, September 26th.
Term limits prohibit Ruhl from running for re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives seat for the 68th District which includes all of Knox County and portions of Delaware County.
