MOUNT VERNON – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office announces the promotions of two officers, Danial Bobo and Damon Roberts. Sheriff David Shaffer says Detective Bobo began his career with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office in 2002. Dan worked in the Jail and Patrol Divisions prior to his current assignment to investigate crimes against children.
Damon Roberts worked in the Jail and Patrol Divisions from 2000 to 2006. He then took a position with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. During his time there he received several commendations for his work as a case investigator in the Charitable Law Section. In 2015 Damon returned to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office as a Jail Division Deputy.
