CRESTLINE – The Richland County Sheriff’s Department reports that on Monday evening at 9:49 p.m. an armed robbery occurred at Dollar General, 905 E. Main St., Crestline in Richland County.
A Dollar Store cashier reported that she was working the cash register when a male walked into the store and ordered her to give him the money in the cash register. The cashier advised that he was a black male in his forties wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt with dark colored pants and white gloves. The cashier also reported that he was wearing “strange” glasses and a wig.
The cashier reported that the suspect said, “Give me the money and hurry up or I’m going to shoot you.” She in turn gave him all of the money. After she gave him the money she stated that the suspect ordered her to the ground and told her to stay there for twenty minutes after he left. After he left, the cashier then yelled for her manager and advised her of what happened.

Two deputies with K9s responded to the scene. The suspect was not located.
