MOUNT VERNON – Cameron T. Moore, 22, of Mount Vernon was sentenced on one count of Endangering Children, a misdemeanor of the first-degree. Moore was originally indicted on one count of Importuning by the Grand Jury for having inappropriate contact with a minor who was enrolled at the school where Moore was employed. The fifth-degree felony charge was reduced with the condition that Moore will be permanently disqualified from working in a school. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered to pay a $500 fine. This case was investigated by Det. J.T. DeChant of the Mount Vernon Police Department.

Grant T. Boucher, 37, of Mount Vernon was resentenced on three counts of Forgery, fifth-degree felonies. Boucher violated the terms of his Community Control by associating with a felon and using heroin. He was sentenced to 11 months on each count, to be served concurrently. Boucher will also serve three years of post-release control following his prison term. This case was investigated by Det. Tim Arnold of the Mount Vernon Police Department.

Lee Scott Oliver, 42, of Utica was sentenced on two counts of Theft from a Disabled Adult, both fifth-degree felonies. He was placed on three years of community control with 90 days in jail suspended. Oliver was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $3,812.61 and maintain full time employment. A violation of community control could result in him serving 11 months in prison for each count. This case was investigated by Det. David Light of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

Hubert Wells Jr., 37, of Mount Vernon was sentenced for one count of Theft, a misdemeanor of the first-degree. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, suspended, provided he engages in no criminal conduct for 12 months. Wells was originally indicted for Breaking and Entering and Theft after taking a battery from a nearby barn when his car broke down. This case was investigated by Dep. Zachary Miller of the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.

Blake A. Forsythe, 26, of Utica was sentenced on one count of Attempted Assault on a Peace Officer and Harassment with a Bodily Substance, both fifth-degree felonies. She will serve 90 days in jail with 11 months in prison suspended and is required to complete the Franklin County Community Based Correctional Facility Program. Forsythe was also placed on 3 years of community control, ordered to maintain full time employment and pay court costs. This case was investigated by Sgt. Alan Dexter of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
