MOUNT VERNON – MTVarts presents “The Wake at the Blind Tiger,” a 1920s speakeasy interactive dinner theatre experience, on Friday and Saturday, March 13‐14, at the The Glenn A. Gallagher Centre, 1451 Gambier Road, Mount Vernon. MTVarts brings the glamorous Gatsby era to life with flappers, mobsters, a priest and more. The previous Don has passed on and dinner guests have final say in who is going to take over as the new mob boss.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at First‐Knox National Bank (Main Street)

or online at www.MTVarts.com. The evening kicks off with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and a buffet dinner at 7 p.m. The buffet will include many Italian choices such as lasagna, chicken parmesan, vegan mushroom risotto, and a selection of desserts. A cash bar will also be available.

Guests are encouraged (but not required) to dress in 1920s garb and fully interact with the cast. Don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of the action in this interactive comedy. Interactive shows are a theatrical form that breaks the “fourth wall” that traditionally separates the performer from the audience both physically and verbally. The performance may happen amidst audience members, and often involves the audience in more active roles.
