MOUNT VERNON – Destinee Dickerson, 7, of Fredericktown was named the 2014 Little Miss Knox County Sunday afternoon. She is the daughter of Jason and Heather Dickerson. Destinee wins $100 dollars from the Knox County Fair Board as well as ride tickets, a trophy and crown. She will make appearances throughout the week at the fair.

The first runner up is McKinley Figurski of Mount Vernon. She is the daugher of Eric & Heather Figurski of Mount Vernon. Riley Rine of Fredericktown is 2nd runner up. Riley is the daugher of Mike and Heidi Rine of Fredericktown. 3rd runner up is Hailey Burke of Mount Vernon, daugher of John and Kelly Burke of Mount Vernon.
25 little girls participated in the pageant Sunday afternoon hosted by Julie Chester of First Knox National Bank.
They were all interviewed by Chester and asked about their pets, their summer plans and their favorite things about the fair. Each girl receeived a trophy, crown and a cash prize from the Fair Board.
