MOUNT VERNON — On January 14, 2014, the Mount Vernon Fire Department was made aware of a female soliciting sponsorships from local businesses on behalf of the fire department. This female is not associated with the Mount Vernon Fire Department. Any person representing the Mount Vernon Fire Department should be in full uniform with the logo/patch on the shirt.
