As we follow the highway, we will learn about the rich history, the cultural impacts, the kitschy cool nostalgia, and the must-do travel stops you need to see along the way!

Dr. Allan Bazzoli, M.D. will offer the sounds of eighteen Himalayan singing bowls combined with harmonic chants from different cultures to immerse you in a very relaxing, transcendent experience of vibration and sound.  Dr. Bazzoli will chant a blend of Native American sounds, the OM chant (the universal chant), the Dragon chant and the Snow Mountain chant.  Cost:  $20 adults. $10 students.  Reserve your spot: schutte1@kenyon.edu.  Please meet at the resource center.

Kenyon College Lit Fest

Kenyon College, Gambier, OH: ENGL 308: Literary Citizenship hosts a literary festival to foster literary community throughout the greater Knox County area, bringing students of the college and members of the community together to celebrate the mutual love for literature. Through a diverse series of events, attendees will create, learn, and connect, with opportunities available for all to participate. The Lit Fest officially launches on April 11th and will run through April 12th, the series of events will end with the final event on April 18th at Kenyon College.

Treat yourself to a tranquil and relaxing experience with Reiki, guided meditation, and aromatherapy at the Brown Family Environmental Center with Sarah Spangler (Usui/Holy Fire III, Animal & Karuna Reiki Master, & Clinically Certified Aromatherapist). This one-hour experience offers a safe space that welcomes all. Feel free to bring a blanket or yoga mat…or use one of the BFEC mats. There is a $10 fee for community members.  Donations are welcome, and 50% of all contributions will be gifted to the Brown Environmental Center. Meet Sarah at the resource center.
