At 9:40 a.m. on Saturday, a complainant reported that there had been two recent attempts to break into one of the large truck garages at Richert Trucking Company on Columbus Road in Clinton township. A week ago, someone tried to pry open the latch on the main door and, on this date, someone attempted to kick open the same door.
Just before 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, a victim reported that someone had opened a PayPal account using her personal information and accrued $333.33 in charges. She requested a report be filed.
At 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, a victim in Howard reported that someone had used his Social Security number and filed taxes in his name.
At 11:25 a.m. on Sunday, a Gambier resident reported that a suspicious vehicle had entered his driveway on Hopewell Road. He said that the vehicle left after seeing that someone was home.
At 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, a victim reported that someone attempted to open a credit card in her name. She had it cancelled and requested a report be filed.
At 10:40 a.m. on Monday, an employee of the Knox County Water & Waste Water department reported that someone had broken a post at a property on Floralwood Drive in Howard in order to drive into the woods. The vehicle drove from the water tower and came out behind the Floral Valley recreation center.
