Brian O. West, 35, of Fredericktown was charged at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday for disorderly conduct.

Sheila Lambert, 34, of Mount Vernon was charged just after 10:00 p.m. on Sunday for persistent disorderly conduct.

Chris Anderson, 22, of Mount Vernon was charged at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday for criminally damaging property.

Zachary K. Morris, 21, of Mount Vernon was charged back in November with petty theft from the Wal-Mart.  He was charged with a second count of petty theft from the Wal-Mart at around 9:45 p.m. this past Friday.

James Johnson, 24, of Mount Vernon was picked up just before 7:40 p.m. on Thursday for a parole violation.

Traffic Violations

Janet L. Ashcraft, 76, of Mount Vernon was cited just before 1:30 p.m. on Friday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.

Aaron W. Fortune, 24, of Centerburg was cited at around 3:00 p.m. on Friday for improperly starting and backing his vehicle.

Thomas N. Oakes, 22, of Mount Vernon was cited at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.

Rhonda Ransom, 57, of Mount Vernon was cited at 2:45 p.m. on Friday for improperly starting and backing her vehicle.

Brandy Daniels, 29, of Mount Vernon was cited at around 11:20 p.m. on Saturday for operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Vitor Oliveira, 27, of Columbus was cited at around 1:10 a.m. on Saturday for running a red-light.

Krystina M. Lumbatio, 24, of Mount Vernon was cited at 11:45 a.m. on Friday for failing to yield at a stop-sign.

Emilie M. Miller, 32, of Mount Vernon was cited back in November for driving on the wrong side of the roadway.

Patrick D. Yoder, 25, of Mount Vernon was cited at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday for driving under a suspended license.

Shane M. Lester, 24, of Mount Vernon was cited back in October for driving a vehicle with expired plates.

Kody Smith, 19, of Utica was cited at 2:30 p.m. on Monday for failing to yield at a stop-sign.

T. Kathleen Van Houten, 18, of Fredericktown was cited at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.

Ashley Lynn Holland, 26, of Niagara Falls, NY was cited at around 9:50 a.m. on Friday for driving left of the center line.

Accidents

At 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Kody A. H. Smith, 19, of Utica was heading southbound on S. Elm Street in his 1994 Acura Integra.  Todd A. Woosley, 52, of Mount Vernon was heading westbound on W. Gambier Street in his 2012 Dodge 1500.  Smith approached the stop sign but began sliding when she attempted to stop.  She slid into the intersection and struck Woosley’svehicle.  Smith was cited for the incident.

Incidents

Just before 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, a victim reported the theft of aDuralast ball-joint for a vehicle from her residence on the 100-block of E. Lamartine Street.  A suspect was identified and a security tape from AutoZone was collected as evidence.

At around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to a business alarm at the TSC on Coshocton Avenue.  They checked the exterior of the business and found everything secure and in-order.  A keyholder responded to the scene and deactivated the alarm cable and audible alarm.  The officers then left the scene.

Just after 7:15 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a business alarm at the Sears on Coshocton Avenue.  Everything appeared in-order and they cleared the scene.

Just after 8:30 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a business alarm at R&M Southside Diner.  The security company reported motion at both the North and South doors.  On arrival, they found an employee and a locked, but not fully secure, door.  They secured the door and contacted a key-holder.  The key-holder declined to come to the scene for a walk-through of thebusiness’s interior.

At around 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were dispatched toDavita Dialysis in response to an activated business alarm.  They found the exterior of the building to be secure and the key-holder declined to respond.

At around 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported that someone had stolen medication from his home on the 100-block of N. Rogers Street.  Among the missing items were several Norco and Xanax tablets.
