Barbara C Hall, age 92 of Fredericktown, Ohio died Thursday, August 21, 2025. She was born February 25, 1933, in Coshocton, Ohio. She was raised in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Manning F. Hunter and Mary F. Walker Hunter. She was a 1951graduate of Millersburg High School and attended Bowling Green State University and graduated from OSU in 1955 with a Bachler Degree in Vocational Home Economics and was inducted into the Home Economics Honor Society of Phi Upsilon Omicron, a national honor society in the field of family and consumer sciences.

Barbara married Gary W Hall in 1955, after being married for 48 years he preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister Marjorie Harter and brothers-in-law, Charles Harter and Steve Clawson. They moved to Fredericktown in 1961. Barbara taught Home Economics for 25 years in the Fredericktown School system. She was a member of the Fredericktown Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school and Bible school as well as served as Deacon, Trustee and Elder. Barbara, and the late Beverly Dremann started the Hot Meals Program in Fredericktown, as well as organized and cooked for the church’s annual Tomato Show soup bean booth and the annual Turkey Supper. Collecting recipes and cooking for family and friends was her greatest joy and an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her son Brent (Kristi Kepler) Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter Lisa (Eric) Dilts of Fredericktown, grandchildren: Logan (Shelby Sloan) Dilts and Morgan (Kyle Koehler) Dilts and Joseph (Kelli) Hall and Dylan (Cailin) Hall and three great grandchildren, Peyton, Carsen and Hunter Hall.

The family is hosting a celebration of life of Barbara C. Hall on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00am at the Fredericktown First Presbyterian Church.

In leu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fredericktown First Presbyterian Church, 17 S. Main St., Fredericktown, Ohio 43019.
