9/18/17 – Officers attempted to serve a juvenile arrest warrant on Crystal Ave. with the assistance of the Knox County Juvenile Probation Office. The juvenile fled on foot but was later apprehended and turned over to Juvenile Probation and served with the warrant.

9/18/17 – A complainant made contact with an officer at the KCSO. The complainant stated he wanted to make out a report on the theft of his cell phone.

9/18/17 – Dispatch advised that Kevin Curtis had an active arrest warrant for failure to comply with the terms of his probation. Dispatch advised Curtis was last seen at his residence. Two officers went to the residence on Columbus Rd. where contact was made with Curtis. He was placed in handcuffs and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

9/15/17 – Jeremy Dinsmore, 37, Ann St., was charged with hypodermic possession, display, and possession of drug abuse instruments.

9/18/17 – An officer responded to the area of Calhoun and Prospect streets in reference to a parking complaint. The officer spoke with an employee of a gravel company who advised there was a gray Honda parked in the street and they needed it moved so they could pave the street. The officer made contact with a resident of Prospect St. telling her the vehicle needed to be moved. The resident said she thought it was an abandoned vehicle. She said it had been parked there for some time and she did not think the vehicle would run. The officer noticed the vehicle had two flat tires and did not appear to be operable. The officer then requested a tow truck which towed the vehicle to the city impound lot.

9/18/17 – At approximately 4:54 P.M, an officer made contact with a juvenile who was looking for his mother. He indicated she had been missing since 10:00 P.M. on 9/17/17. The woman was entered into LEADS as a missing person. There are no leads at this time.

9/18/17 – An officer responded to a complaint about an incident involving juveniles on E., Chestnut St. Upon arrival, the officer contacted the complainant who said four juveniles were in her backyard trying to fight her son. The complainant further advised the juveniles ran westbound through the backyard prior to his arrival. The officer later caught up to the four juveniles on N. Park St. and advised them of the complaint. A copy of this report will be forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor for review and possible charges.

9/18/17 – Officers were dispatched to the area of Monroe and Chester streets in reference to a disturbance. A male and female had been in a verbal altercation at the residence and the female wanted the male to leave. They could not agree on who owned a cell phone in a pink case so it was taken by the officers to be placed in evidence until proof of ownership could be provided.
