Arrests and Charges:
William Burke, 36, a homeless man, was arrested at 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday on an outstanding warrant.
Kimberly Orndoff, 51, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday for domestic violence.
Traffic Citations:
Carrie Kearns, 32, of Cardington was arrested at 9:50 p.m. on Tuesday for an open container violation, for operating a vehicle while under the influence, for driving under a suspended or revoked license, and for driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
Accidents:
At 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Adan Garcia Arvuzu, 23, of Mount Vernon was traveling southbound on S. Sundusky Street in his 1998 Pontiac Grand Am. Ethan R. Hornsby, 17, of Cardington was traveling westbound on W. Gambier Street in his 1997 Ford F-35. At the intersection of those streets, they collided. According to an eyewitness, Arvuzu ran the red-light causing the accident. Both vehicles had been moved to the Smitty’s Carpet parking lot prior to the officer’s arrival. Arvuzu was cited for the incident.
Incidents:
At 3:50 a.m. on Tuesday, a domestic disturbance was reported at an apartment on Plaza Drive.
At 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported that the passenger-side window on her vehicle had been broken. A suspect was identified.
