Patricia “Pat” Hines Ronk, 84, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026, surrounded by her husband and her three children in the comfort of her home.

Born on January 28, 1942, in Fredericktown, Ohio, to Floyd and Hazel Hines, Pat grew up in Fredericktown and graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1960. On September 12, 1964, she married Robert “Bob” Wesley Ronk, and together they raised their family in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Pat poured her heart into the people she loved. She worked to support Bob through his schooling and Navy service, and later became a steady presence in his business. She devoted herself to raising their three children, encouraging their every endeavor and standing by them through all stages of life. She was a longtime member of the Gay Street United Methodist Church and shared her time as a volunteer through the church and various other organizations.

Those who knew her will remember her loving nature, her selflessness and strength, and her quick wit. To her grandchildren, she was simply “Grammy”, and they adored her beyond measure.

Above all, family was most important to Pat. She is survived by her husband, Bob Ronk; her children, J. Travis (Lauren) Ronk, Tara (Chad) Davis, and Lindsay (John) Collier; her grandchildren, Gavin, Ella, and Parker Davis, and Declan, Kellan, and Mila Collier; her stepmother-in-law, Joyce Carlyle; her siblings, Daniel Hines and Diana Peterson; her brother-in-law, Roger Ronk; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Hazel Hines, and her parents-in-law, Frederick and Velda Ronk.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, October 31, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Snyder Funeral Homes, Flowers Chapel, 619 E. High Street, Mt. Vernon, Ohio 43050. A celebration of life will follow at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation or the Salvation Army in Pat’s memory.
