Ronald Jay Doyle, age 75, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at The Whispering Hills Nursing Home in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He was born on September 7, 1950, in Fredericktown, Ohio, to the late Homer and Irene (Young) Doyle.
Ron graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1968 and joined the United States Air Force and served his country proudly. He retired from the United States Postal Service and worked in Mount Vernon. Ron enjoyed golfing and fishing, but most of all he loved being around his grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his sons, Brad (Sally) Doyle, Todd Doyle; grandchildren, Robin Doyle and Kenny Doyle; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Rhonda) Doyle, LeRoy Doyle; and several nieces.
Along with his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Doyle, Larry Doyle; sisters, Linda Ridenbaugh and Barb Scott.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
