Dallas L. Popham, age 92, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He was born in Fredericktown, Ohio, on July 18, 1933, to the late Raymond and Reeva (Kirkpatrick) Popham.
Dallas graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1951 and kept in contact with his classmates throughout the years. He was a supervisor for Kokosing Construction and made many friends there. Dallas started working in 1964 and retired in 1995. He was part of the Kokosing Retirement Group and enjoyed helping and volunteering his time. Dallas was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church for over 60 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Fredericktown, Thrall Lodge #170 F. & A.M, and reached 32 degree Mason. Dallas enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing grass and plowing snow. Most of all he loved being around his family and never missed his grandkids events.
He is survived by his children, Eric (Susan) Popham, Heidi (Todd) Burns; grandchildren, Jacob (Morgan) Popham, Mason (Kelsey) Popham, Alex (Sarah) Burns; great-grandchildren, Jack, Wes, Beau, Cameron and Atlas; a brother, John (Jan) Popham; several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Dallas is preceded in death by his first wife, Inge Popham; second wife, Garnet Davis; son, Tom Popham; granddaughter, Emily Burns; and a sister, Jean Miller.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Cornerstone Community Church (123 Columbus Rd, Fredericktown) from 9 am until the time of Masonic service starting at 11 am. Pastor Jerry Ernst will officiate church service.
