Robert A. Hughes, 52, of Mt. Vernon passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 15, 2026. Born in Ogden, Utah on April 7, 1974, Robert moved to the Butler, Ohio area many years ago to be with his grandparents – eventually making Mount Vernon his home after his grandparent’s passing.
Robert was a simple man and a kind, gentle soul who lived life to his fullest capacity. He loved and was loved by his caregivers over the years. Anyone who took the time to get to know him always had a special place in their heart where Robert existed freely. So many mourn his loss and hope that he is fishing in heaven.
