Robert H. Stepp, age 72, of Howard passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.
He was born on January 12, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio to the late John and Martha (Russell) Stepp. Robert was employed and retired from Showa in Sunbury in Quality Control after many years of service. He enjoyed camping and attending Peoples Baptist Church in Mansfield. But most of all, Robert loved the time he spent with family and close friends.
He is survived by his wife, of over 48 years, Sandra (Lucas) Stepp; his sons Tony (Sharon Igel) Stepp, John Stepp; two grandchildren, Blake Stepp, Taylor Stepp; his great grandchild Amira Stepp; his brother Carl (Kay) Stepp; his sister Lisa (Mark) Thompson; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Stepp.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother Jim Stepp and his step mother Betty Stepp.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, in Mound View Cemetery beginning at 1:00 PM.
