Larry L. Baughman, 89 of Utica passed away on February 12, 2026 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 26, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Thomas Noel and Lucille L. (Stevens) Baughman.
Larry was a lifetime member of the Highwater United Church of Christ and the Utica Coffee Club. He worked for Igel from 1972-1997 and drove truck for Shipley’s for about 8 years. He loved his draft ponies.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Cindy) Baughman, Brenda Kay Baughman (Jeff) Keyser and Todd (Monica) Baughman; grandchildren, Joshua (Angie), Justin (Cyndi) and Jacob (Trisha) Baughman, Danielle (Jayson) Parrish, Timothy and Robert (Sky) Reisdorf; great-grandchildren, Alley, Austin, Alaina, Tanner, Peyton, Brinley, Jo, Kinsley Kay, Canden Lee, Kinslee, Kielee, Genevieve; siblings, Becky Sue (Jim) Lloyd and Thomas R. Baughman; girlfriend, Phyllis Buxton; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sue A. Baughman who passed September 12, 2018; sister, Rosalie Baughman; and sister-in-law, Connie Baughman.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Monday, February 16, 2026 and Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 11-12pm at Highwater United Church of Christ, 1213 Dutch Lane NW, Newark. Funeral service will be held at 12pm Tuesday with Rev. Gladys Davis and Rev. Tori Front officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
