Johnnie B. (Milburn) Laney, age 90, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon. She was born on August 14, 1935, in Stephens Branch, Kentucky, to the late Ike and Sadie (Sturgil) Stephens.
Johnnie married Oscar Milburn in 1951and raised five children. She worked at Kilgore Manufacturing Co. in Westerville, Ohio. Johnnie loved traveling and going to Flee Markets all over the State. Her greatest joy was being around her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandkids.
Johnnie is survived by her children, Debbie Milburn-Harris, Mike Milburn, Matt (Angela) Milburn, Mark Milburn; grandchildren, Billi Jo Swihart, Rodney Milburn, Michael Milburn, Tiffany Milburn-Hollis, Shelly Milburn, Chase Milburn, Cade Milburn, Conner Milburn, Miranda Milburn, Nicole Milburn; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Along with her parents, Johnnie is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Milburn and a son, Marvin Milburn.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Eastview Cemetery in Centerburg, Ohio, with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating.
