William Richard Morrison, age 73, of Howard, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at home. He was born on September 1, 1951, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Richard and Mary Joanna (Thomas) Morrison.
Rick worked as a machine mechanic, amongst other jobs. He worked in Loudonville, Ohio, in The Flxible Co. Rick enjoyed sports such as racing, bowling and golf. He coached his kids in Little League and even coached High School Softball. Rick enjoyed feeding wildlife and being outdoors.
He is survived by his children, Carrie (Troy Heichel) Morrison, Donald Morrison; grandchildren, Daniel Morrison, Jaylen Pruitt; a brother, Dave (Paula) Morrison; and sisters, Becky and Shawn; several nieces.
Along with his parents, Rick is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Libby” Morrison; and sister, Kay.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Knox County or Gentiva Hospice.
