Yoga in the Garden

June 9, 11:30 – 12:15 p.m.

Use your Monday lunch break to de-stress with an outdoor yoga class.  Bring your kids, grandkids, friends, etc. – open to all ages.  Bring your own mat or use ours.  Free!  Meet in the BFEC garden (behind the white house). *no class on June 30 or Sept 1

Kokosing River Stream Exploration

June 12, 6:30 pm

Join the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Natural Areas and Preserves and Brown Family Environmental Center (BFEC) and Kenyon College to learn more about stream quality monitoring on Thursday, June 12 at BFEC Water Trail Access at 6:30 p.m. Discover the aquatic critters that populate our streams and how they help determine water quality of Ohio’s rivers.  

Please wear clothing that can get wet and closed-toed shoes. The trailhead is located near BFEC by Laymon Rd Bridge. For more information or to RSVP, email CentralSQM@dnr.ohio.gov. From Bare to Buzzing

Join us for a fun, hands-on adventure as we explore how nature changes over time. Learn how ecosystems grow from bare fields to buzzing habitats, identifying different stages of growth along the way.  Families and adults welcome.  Meet at the Hall Farm parking area on New Gambier Rd.
