William “Kenny” White, 70 of Mount Vernon, passed away on May 9, 2025 at Knox Community Hospital. He was born on May 28, 1954 to Robert and Betty (Collins) White in Mount Vernon, OH.
Kenny was a US Army Veteran. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge. Kenny retired from the Mount Vernon Developmental Center. He then worked at the Marathon Town Center where he made many friends. Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing and growing flowers. His favorite thing was spending time with his family.
William is survived by his wife Vicki (Taylor) White; his mother Betty (Collins) White of Cape Coral, FL; a daughter Cory White of Mount Vernon, OH; brothers Robert White of Mount Vernon, OH and Thomas (Steph) White of Florida and a sister Janet White of Newark, OH; nephews John White of Mount Vernon, OH, Geoff White of Pataskala, OH, Charlie Stillings of Mount Vernon, OH and Sean Stillings of Mount Vernon, OH; brothers in law Robert Taylor of Austinburg, OH, Don Kolbfleisch of Burton, OH, Brent (Deanna) Taylor of Indian Springs, OH; many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
William was preceded in death by his father Robert White, a father and mother in law Raymond and Ruby Taylor, sisters in law Martha Taylor and Irene Kolbfleisch.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Moose Lodge, Friday, May 16, 2025 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.
