Jordan Spencer Johnson, 30, of Mount Gilead formerly of Mount Vernon passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, May 8, 2025 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus following injuries he received in a work zone construction accident on April 21, 2025. He was born on August 21, 1994 in Mount Vernon to Jeff and Laurie (Spencer) Johnson of Howard.
Jordan enjoyed his family and friends, and many of his friends became family. He enjoyed any type of card game and was known for playing Tonk and Euchre with his buddies. He also enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and an occasional glass of 4 Roses. He was an avid OSU Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan, enjoying many games with his friends and family. He currently works for KEC Services of Urbana. He began his career as a construction Project Inspector at True Inspection Services of Urbana and continued his career at Prime AE of Columbus. Jordan is known and made many wonderful friends through his work. He was loved by many and never met a stranger. He truly did not meet anyone that he did not consider a friend nor leave a lifelong impression. He had an “Army” praying for him following his accident and spinal cord injury.
