Robert C. “Bob” White, 78, of St. Louisville, passed away on April 28, 2025.

He was born on June 12, 1946, in Mount Vernon to George Hawn and Elsie (Beach) White.

Bob was a 1965 East Knox High School graduate. After high school he worked for Pittsburgh Plate Glass and Coopers. Ultimately, retiring as a truck driver. He was baptized at Faith Baptist Church in 1985. Bob enjoyed NFL football, NASCAR and W.W.E.

He is survived by his children, Shelli (Mat) Lyons of Bladensburg, Renee (Glenn) Grogg of Bladensburg, and Shawn (Mia) White of Danville; grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Shelby, Jared, Case, and Kierra; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Brennen, Breidyn, Hazel, Paisley, and Weston; sister, Iris (Jim) Dudgeon of Fredericktown; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Burch; sisters, Barbara Fawcett and Marilyn Lawson; and a brother, Terry White.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 – 11:00 AM in Bladensburg Cemetery with Mr. Roger Marra officiating. The Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel is handling the service for the White family.
