Lisa Margaret Cook, 65, of Mount Vernon passed away on Friday morning, May 2, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 23, 1959 in Mount Vernon to the late Dale L. and Margaret E. (Weller) Beheler.
Lisa worked for At Home Health providing care for many years for many area residents. She was a member of the Palmyra Church of Christ. Lisa was always found sharing her love, her smile, and her cookies. Regardless if she’d known you for years or just met, you were greeted with love.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Jim who she married on December 3, 1983; children, Risa Smith, Garrett Jordan, and Bradley Cook; five grandchildren; a sister, Vicki Bechtel; brothers, Rod, Dana, and Renn Beheler; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by sister, Gina Keller; and brother, Gordon Beheler.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Palmyra Church of Christ, 21184 Zolman Rd., Fredericktown with Evangelist Troy Norhtrop officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
