Dortha Zolman, 104, of Erlanger, Kentucky formerly of Fredericktown passed away on Saturday morning, March 1, 2025 at Baptist Village Nursing Home in Erlanger, Kentucky. She was born on September 10, 1920 in Knox County, Ohio to the late William and Anna Belle (Infield) Shira.
Dortha retired from the Fredericktown Schools. She was a member of the Fredericktown First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
Dortha is survived by her daughters, Janice (Tom) Bogner of Villa Hills, Kentucky and Julie (Dave) Imes of Willow Wood, Ohio; grandchildren, Elissa (William)Tennant of Twinsburg, Ohio, and Andy (Lisa) Zolman of Westlake Ohio; great grandsons, Zachary and Xander Zolman of Westlake, Ohio; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Zolman of Asheville, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, Dortha was preceded in death by her husband, John Zolman in 2014; and a son, Larry Zolman in 2015.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Fredericktown Chapel 33 East College St., Fredericktown, Ohio with Pastor Brian Snow officiating. Dortha will be laid to rest beside her husband, John in Owl Creek Cemetery, Ankenytown, Ohio
