Judith Ann Snyder, 85, a cherished individual known for her kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 20, 1939 in Mount Vernon to the late Cecil LeRoy and Mary Irene (O’Brien) Blakely.
Judy was the heart and home of our family.
Judy retired from Divelbiss Corporation in Fredericktown. She was a member of the Saint John the Baptist Parish, attending Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Her radiant smile and laugh was so infectious. She was known to dress with jewels, glitter and sparkles, just like her personality. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dogs, Ozzy and Zoey.
Although Judy is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
Judy is survived by her children, Brad Snyder of Fredericktown, Angel Miller of Heath and Brien (Michele) Snyder of Howard; grandchildren, Arica, Lee Anne, Britney, Hannah, Holly, Kaila, Arissa, Kiana (Alec Norris), Bethany and Clay; 14 great-grandchildren and she was also blessed by her sister, several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Snyder; son, Arthur E. Snyder II; a grandson, Bryant Snyder.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Flowers Chapel 619 East High St.., Mount Vernon where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 21, 2025 with Rev. Father Matthew Morris presiding. Burial will in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Capital City Hospice of Columbus who cared so much for Judy during her time at home.
