MOUNT VERNON – Bundle up and bring your holiday spirit to Winter in Downtown 2024: A Vintage Holiday Celebration, presented by Park National Bank and Experience Mount Vernon.
From festive lights to joyful gatherings, organizers are making downtown a winter wonderland, kicking off with Shop Small Saturday on Nov. 30, featuring DORA hours from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Enjoy holiday shopping and cozy vibes as you support our beloved local businesses.
The holiday magic continues on Sunday, December 1st with the Annual Holiday Parade at 3:45 p.m., sponsored by Burrata Woodfired. Public Square will be filled with Festive Family Fun afterward, leading up to the Lighting of Public Square at 5 p.m., presented by Ariel Corporation.
Watch as the square is transformed into a sparkling Christmas scene, then head over for Photos with Santa, sponsored and hosted by the Mount Vernon Grand Hotel, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Later in the season, on Dec. 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., Santa will return for more photos, also sponsored and hosted by the Mount Vernon Grand Hotel.
That evening, don’t miss the kickoff of the 5th Annual Festival of Lights holiday lighting competition, presented by Knox Community Hospital, celebrating local creativity with festive displays.
