Christine L. Stockdale, 67 of Utica passed away on August 31, 2024 at her residence. She was born on July 29, 1957 in Mt. Vernon to Betty L. (Tompkins) Kent and the late Ivan C. Kent.
Christine was a member of the Utica Church of Christ. She retired from the State of Ohio after 28 years. She was active with the Mt. Vernon YMCA, where she enjoyed line dancing and senior activities.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Marcus (Maribeth) Stockdale; grandchildren, Morgan, Marleigh and Myla; brother, Troy Kent; brother-in-law, Kerry Freed; and nieces and nephews, Cassandra, Angie, Gabriela, Tasha, Travis and KJ.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her infant son, Nathan Stockdale; and sister, Tammy Freed.
The family will receive friends from 11-12pm on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave., Utica. Funeral service will follow at 12pm with Pastor Doug Swan officiating.
