Marcina Bash, 62 of Utica passed away on July 30, 2024 at Riverside Hospital. She was born on December 26, 1961 in Anderson, IN to Phillip Gayheart and Betty (Thomas) Gayheart.
Marcina was a 1980 graduate of Utica High School. She worked for the Village of Utica as the Mayor’s Court Clerk. She was a volunteer for Homer EMS and Utica EMS for many years. She enjoyed preparing benefit meals for the Homer Fire Department. She also enjoyed reading and loved her beloved pets.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 39 years, Allen Bash; siblings, Morris (Pam) Gayheart, Phillip Gayheart, Jr., Peggy Lynn Koonts and Bobby Gayheart; sister-in-law, Keitha Bash; niece, Jessica Gayheart and many other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. Memorial service will be held at 11am on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the funeral home with Reverend Marvin Haught officiating. Inurnment will follow at Brandon Cemetery.
