Rex Erwin Wright, 66 of St. Louisville passed away on May 8, 2024 at his residence. He was born on November 12, 1957 in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Ralph E. and Nellie R. (Farley) Wright.
Rex was a member of Highway Starz. He loved cars, drag racing, his cows and his beloved dog, Hazel.
He is survived by his children, Tabatha Wright, Joe Allen Bell, Bill (Linda) Bell and Jerri (David) O’Keefe; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Rebecca Wright; brother, Rick (Vicki) Wright; 4 nephews and 1 niece.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet I. Wright; granddaughter, Season Grippando; and stillborn brother.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the funeral home with his son, Bill Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery.
