Maryetta Blanton, age 94, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Country Club Retirement Campus.
She was born on April 2, 1930, in Union County to the late William and Velma (Lake) Heath.
Maryetta was a member of the Mount Vernon Church of Christ.
She is survived by her two sons, Robert (June) Blanton and Herman (Joan) Blanton, seven grandchildren, along with numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Blanton in 1994, three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon. Where funeral services will be held on Tuesday starting at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ben Driver officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
