Carrie Ann Davis, age 52, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon. She was born on October 7, 1971, in Coshocton, Ohio, to James “Peanut” and Jackie (Perkins) Carpenter.
After graduating from East Knox High School, Carrie worked at First Knox National Bank. She then became certified as a Nurses Aide and worked for The Laurels of Mount Vernon for over 20 years. Carrie enjoyed crocheting, her Rottweiler dogs, but most of all she loved being around her family, especially her grandbabies.
She is survived by her mother, Jackie Carpenter; husband of 30 years, Kevin Davis; children, Shawn Davis, Colton Davis, and Kirsten (Dustin) Alspach; grandchildren, LillyAnne, GraceLynn, and Wylder Alspach, Reese Davis, and Jayden Davis; a brother, Chris (Heather) Mullinex.
She is preceded in death by her father, James “Peanut” Carpenter; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sharon and Ken Davis.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
