Sally J. Davis, 84, of Mount Vernon passed away at Knox Community Hospital on October 9, 2023. She was born on September 28, 1939 to Fred and Opal (Jacob) Stout in Mount Vernon, OH.
Sally was a Red Cross Volunteer. She volunteered following the Northridge California earthquake helping survivors of that disaster. Sally enjoyed Bowling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother who always tried to do the right thing. Sally was an angel to her husband Robert of 53 years.
Sally is survived by her husband Robert Davis; a son Myron Grennell; grandchildren Hannah, Leevi, Kyle, Nate, Conner, Devin, Lindsey, Ray; a nephew Jeff Young and many extended family members.
A Memorial Service will be held at Flowers – Snyder Funeral Home, 619 East High Street, Mount Vernon, OH 43050 at 11:00am. Graveside services with a burial of ashes will follow with Mr. Roger Marra officiating.
