FREDERICKTOWN — Community members showed their support for “Sweet Home Fredericktown” at the annual plate auction at the Fredericktown Tomato Show.

The auction garnered $30,100, $6,000 higher than 2022’s total.

The 2023 plate features a sugar shack at Bonhomie Acres Pure Ohio Maple Syrup. The Brown family has produced the sweet liquid for more than 100 years, with the sixth generation now learning the business.

Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Brown showed their community commitment by buying Plate #9 for $3,500. Buyers of the other nine plates include:
