MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

JUNE 28

— Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Dutch’s Bar on Columbus Rd. After speaking with both parties, statement forms were collected and the case will be sent to the prosecutors for review.

— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hampshire Rd in reference to a disturbance. A report was taken for documentation and sent down for prosecutor review for charges.

JUNE 29

— Deputies responded to a vehicle crash where the vehicle was partially in a waterway with no one around on Vance Road. The caller stated the ignition appeared to have been ripped out. Deputies arrived and located a male juvenile walking near the scene. The male was detained and the vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Licking County. The suspect was relayed to Licking County and a crash report was completed along with a recovered stolen vehicle report.

— Deputies stopped a vehicle on Harcourt Road in Mount Vernon, Ohio for a traffic violation. After making contact with the driver, it was determined that the individual had an outstanding warrant out of Knox County. The individual was taken into custody and transported to the Knox County Jail.
