Scott C. Cosner, age 37, of Mount Vernon passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at the Knox Community Hospital.
He was born on June 2, 1985, in Mount Vernon to Don Cosner and Kimberly Garrad-McDowell. Scott was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. He also enjoyed camping and helping out those in need, especially the elderly. But most of all, Scott loved the time that he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife Jasmine (Bales) Cosner; his children, Brody Cosner, Brennen Cosner, Malachi Cosner, Makenna O’Conner; his mother Kimberly (Ruskie) Garrad-McDowell; his father Don Cosner; and his brother Matthew Low.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel from 5-7pm. A service will follow, beginning at 7pm, with Pastor Time Overly officiating.
