 Suspicious vehicle w/person – in the 3000 block of Apple Valley Dr.

 Unsecured building – Market St.

 Assisted the Sheriff’s Office on a possible active burglary call – in the 25000 block of Weber Rd.

Jan 21

 Assisted the Sheriff’s Officer on a possible active burglary call in the 600 block of King Beach Dr., Apple Valley

 Abandoned puppies – State St., Brinkhaven.

 Assisted the Squad/EMTs – West Main St.

 A 44 yr. old male from Danville was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 A 37 yr. old male from Millersburg was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 A 49 yr. old female from Mentor was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 A 24 yr. old male from Cambridge was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 Disturbance – in the 300 block of Ridgeway Dr., Apple Valley

 Disturbance – in the 500 block of Crestmonte Dr., Apple Valley

Jan. 22

 Accidental damage to a vehicle – Magers Rd./Cornish Rd.

 Non-injury auto accident. A vehicle traveling west in the 26000 block of Coshocton Rd. slid on ice sideways, striking a guardrail, and flipping on its side.

 Assisted a disabled motorist – in the 3000 block of Apple Valley Dr.

 Non-injury auto accident. A vehicle traveling on Cline Road slid off the road on ice.

Jan. 23

 Vandalism – Sutton Beach, Apple Valley.

 Complaint of ATVs being operated on the roadway – in the 300 block of Grand Valley Dr., Apple Valley.

 Phone harassment – in the 100 block of East Main St.

Jan. 24

 Motorist assist – Orchard St.

Jan. 26

 Minor injury auto accident. A vehicle being driven by a 71 yr. old male from Mount Vernon was traveling westbound on East Main St. and went off the right side of the roadway striking a power pole causing disabling damages to the vehicle.

 Assault – West South St.

 Private property auto accident. A vehicle being driven by a 74 yr. old female from Danville backed into a building – West Washington St.

 Disturbance – High St., Brinkhaven

 Business alarm – West Washington St.

 Disturbance (civil related) – West Washington St.

 Complaint of an erratic driver – Apple Valley Dr.

 Barking dog complaint – in the 200 block of East Washington St.

 A 61 yr. old female from Newark was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 A 53 yr. old male from Beach City was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 A 54 yr. old female from Gambier was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 A 61 yr. old male from Reynoldsburg was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 Residential alarm – in the 400 block of Baldwin Dr., Apple Valley.

Jan. 30

 William Kopriver age 25 of Columbus was indicted by the Knox County grand jury for possession of cocaine a 5th-degree felony and for possession of LSD a 5 th-degree felony arising from a traffic stop on Nov. 18, 2022.

 Suspicious vehicle – in the 300 block of Progress Dr.

 A 48 yr. old male from Walhonding was issued a traffic citation for speed.
