MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County Grand Jury indicted seven people during its March 14 session.

Those indicted include Anna M. Frost, 30, and Nathan C. Parke, 26, both of Mount Vernon, both of the same residence on James Street. The pair was indicted for receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony, and forgery, a fourth-degree felony.

According to the indictments, on or between Oct. 27, 2021, and Nov. 18, 2021, Parke and Frost wrote and cashed fraudulent checks to two banks drawn on an elderly person’s account.

Other indictments include:

Uriah Langston, Mount Vernon, two counts of receiving stolen property, fifth-degree felonies; and two counts of receiving stolen property, fourth-degree felonies

Richard K. Hill, Mount Vernon, theft, fifth-degree felony

Paige H. Canter, Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, third-degree felony; and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, fourth-degree misdemeanor

Kellow S. Jones, Newark, aggravated possession of drugs, possession of LSD, and receiving stolen property, all fifth-degree felonies

Tiffany B. Hannah, Newark, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony; and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, fourth-degree felony
